Please do not take this wrong way, but might help if you expand your explanation a bit .

I really have not found any loli animes I like besides Hoshi no Umi no Amuri and Popotan. And Popotan would not call a loli genre anime but loli themed anime.

@Chisshoku you do know that Sailor Moon is really a romance anime and not a magical-girl anime. The overall story was to Usagi romance with Mamoru and her relationship with the other scouts. The magical-girl part was just used a vehicle for the romance and friendship part of the story. With all that being said it is one of the best animes ever aired.

Talking about first animes watched. The first I have seen was Space Battleship Yamato aka Starblazers. That is only one of three sci-fi animes I find worth watching the other being Gundam Wing and Gundam Wing Endless Waltz.
